What is Forever Isaac?
Forever Isaac is a children’s book series written by me and my son, Miles. We created Forever Isaac to celebrate adoption, unconditional love, and Black family life. The series began as a way to share with Miles our adoption story —honestly, gently, and with intention.
We Love You Forever, written by Miles, reflects his early questions about love and belonging: whether his dad and I would love him no matter what choices he made. Through these stories, Forever Isaac affirms a simple but powerful truth—love does not disappear when challenges arise.
Written with care and purpose, these books are meant to help families talk about adoption, identity, and belonging, while offering children stories where they can see themselves fully and beautifully represented.
Meet MW Harris
MW Harris is an author, mother, and advocate who believes deeply in the power of stories to shape identity, belonging, and love. She is the creator of the Forever Isaac children’s book series, written with love and intention to share her family’s adoption story and to affirm unconditional love within Black families.
Written alongside her son, the Forever Isaac books explore the questions children naturally ask—about belonging, mistakes, and whether love truly lasts no matter what. Through these stories, Ms. Harris hopes to create space for meaningful conversations about adoption, faith, and family, while offering children the comfort of seeing themselves reflected on the page.
When she isn’t writing, Ms. Harris is a legal executive, public speaker, and mentor, committed to service and uplifting the next generation. At the heart of all she does is a simple truth: love is forever.
Meet Miles
Miles is a student-athlete, honor roll student, and young author who wrote We Love You Forever as part of the Forever Isaac series. He decided to write the book because he enjoys telling stories that matter.
The Forever Isaac series is loosely based on Miles’s own life, which makes writing it especially meaningful to him. He loves being able to share his story and help other children understand love, family, and belonging. Isaac is interested in continuing the series and hopes to write more books in the future.
When he’s not writing, Miles enjoys playing sports, eating good food, and cheering for his favorite team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with his dad.
